1927 - The ninth Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film, Harem Scarem, premieres at Colony Theater in New York City.
1930 - The Mickey Mouse film Pioneer Days is released to theaters.
1931 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film Mickey's Orphans. Minnie Mouse and Pluto also appear.
1940 - The Screen Cartoonists Guild informs Disney it had collected cards from a majority of Disney employees, and would ask for recognition.
1941 - The Donald Duck film Chef Donald is released to theaters.
1958 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring the film The Shot That Was Heard Around the World, which is the second half of the film Johnny Tremain.
1965 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring Summer Magic, part one.
1981 - The CBS TV network airs the Walt Disney show, entitled A Magical Disney Christmas.
1985 - The Skyfest celebration salute to Disneyland is held in Anaheim, California. A world record one million helium balloons is released over Disneyland.
