1925 - Disney completes the 15th Alice Comedy film, Alice's Egg Plant.
1930 - George Borgfeldt & Company of New York issues its first Disney merchandising license to Walkburger, Tanner and Company of St. Gall, Switzerland, for manufacturing handkerchiefs featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
1931 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film The Castaway.
1952 - The Burbank Daily Review reports on the first public announcement of a proposed US$1.5 million development called Disneyland at the corner of Riverside and Buena Vista roads.
1957 - Ingersoll-Waterbury presents Walt Disney with the 25-millionth Mickey Mouse watch.
1957 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, entitled Donald's Award. Jiminy Cricket also appears.
1958 - The third locomotive for the Disneyland railroad makes its first test run around the park.
1959 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring an expanded version of the film Toot, Whistle, Plunk, and Boom.
1961 - The Snow White Wishing Well and Grotto opens in Fantasyland at Disneyland.
