1928 - Walt Disney's "Mickey Mouse" trademark application is granted.
1932 - A Sunday Mickey Mouse newspaper comic includes the first appearance of Morty and Ferdy, two children of Mrs. Fieldmouse, a neighbor of Mickey Mouse.
